The Artist Fringe Earring is handmade from glass seed beads on 14k gold plated hooks.

Made by the women of Atizan Lakay, which means “home artist”. This jewelry business is a direct result of the second part of Haiti Design Co’s business model: to work side-by-side with leaders in their co-op to start their own businesses. 

Haiti design co was founded in 2014 with the goal to bring about sustainable development through design, training, and job creation. Their mantra around the workshop is “Men anpil, chay pa lou” an old Haitian proverb meaning “Many hands make the load light”.
