the dream team

the dynamic duo.

The picture on the right was taken the day I bought Frankie. Insert all the feels. Frankie is a literal dream machine. She’s what actually physically holds the dream together. I am just a girl with a dream… some sheer will, and a little determination. And a gigantic team of friends and family who have championed this dream alongside me. We love you, we are grateful you’re here, and can’t wait to meet you!

we run our business by some key beliefs

01. ethically made

We care about the person behind the product. That is why make sure that each brand we partner with pays all of their employees a fair living wage. A few of our partners are certified B Corporations, and some have a dual business model that contributes to their local communities.

02. Diversity driven (champion of people)

We believe in people and celebrating their stories. We believe in people over profit. We believe in a fair workplace. Which is why we have chosen to work primarily with women owned and minority owned businesses. We believe that to be “glocal” we must pursue diversity on both a local and global scale.

03. give-back

Not only do we want to partner with companies who give-back, but we want to give-back as well. We donate our time and resources to local organizations here in Nashville, Tennessee. This looks like financial contributions, volunteering our time and resources, and collaborating on events.

04. accountability

We believe that if we want complete transparency with our brand partners, we need to be as equally transparent. Which is why you will find a rundown of all our beliefs, and what we are actively doing about them here.

the story.

To be honest, my love for fashion started at a young age. As in dressing up and styling my sister for fashion shows young, haha. And on the same hand, I’ve always loved a good deal. Whether that was thrifting, or buying clothes offseason in the sale section…anything to snag a good bargain. But it was when I decided to live out of a hiking bag, sleep in a tent, and travel the world that this narrative shifted. It was in these third world countries that I saw the effects of fast fashion. The choices I was making back home to “snag a bargain,” were directly intertwined in the livelihood of the friends I was making while traveling. Children were forced out of school to work to provide for their families, parents were working long exhausting days but still not being able to put food on the table. It was, and is, modern-day slavery. You just don’t leave moments like that unchanged. So here we are, fast forward through a cross-country move (and then back again), the purchase of a dreamy bus, and a pandemic. This dream has adapted and shifted and become something truly magical. It’s bigger than fashion, it’s wanting to contribute to something bigger than yourself. And for me, that’s helping end modern-day slavery. So let’s dream bigger, use our purchasing power for good, and as always, dare greatly. XOXO
